About the Department
The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in the year 1998 with the mission to educate students from all over India, including those from local and rural areas, so that they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their families, industry and society.
The Department is offering a full-time four year B.E degree course in Electronics and Instrumentation. The course is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The annual intake is 60.
The Department has a committed, highly experienced and motivated team of faculty members. Our faculties are well-qualified and showing keen interest in learning recent developments.
The Department highly encourages the faculty members to attend Faculty development programs.
The Department encourages the students to go for in-plant training, industrial visits and sports activities. The Department has been organizing many symposiums and guest lectures.
To cater the curriculum requirements of both University and Industry, the Department possesses various Sophisticated Laboratories such as Virtual Instrumentation Laboratory, Process Control Laboratory, Industrial Instrumentation Laboratory, Transducer and Measurement Laboratory, Design Project Laboratory, Analog and Digital
System Design Laboratory etc. These are constantly upgraded to suit the current trends. The Department is having proper computing facilities for both students and teachers with a high speed Internet connection. To facilitate the students to have instant reference, a Library with Large number of Reference Books, Text Books, Industrial manuals are available in the Department.
