It is situated at 9th km from Vandavasi on the district highways to Tiruvannamalai. Vandavasi(Wandiwash)was the battle field of karnatic war of France and British. Vandavasi is at 80 kms from Chennai Airport and at 100 kms from Central Railway Station. Vandavasi is centrally located to Vellore (Golden Temple),Kanchi (Kamatchi Temple), Tiruvannamalai (Shiva Temple- Siva- Lord of Fire), Melmaruvathur (Adhi Parasakthi Temple), Thennangur (Panduranga Temple), Pondycherry, Chengalpet, Tindivanam, Uttiramerur, Cheyyar and Arni.

TCET has graduated thousands of students in the past years and collaborating the alumni decennary, with a series of International Conferences from all departments.
