About the Department
The Department of Information Technology was started in the year 1999 to render services to the student community to meet the technical/ professional challenges. The department is well equipped with new software and hardware laboratories with internet and WI-FIconnectivity

Highlight and Special Features
- Students are encouraged to implement their thoughts with the aid of a mini project such as library management system and college web site creation
- Programming skills are developed by using CASE Tools provided to student community
- A holistic approach for under taking detailed studies in the areas of Internet Programming and Software Engineering
- Internet facilities provided to all students in the college
- Periodical Tests in the morning and evening sessions
- Special Coaching classes arranged for arrear students
- One staff is assigned as Care taker for every 10 students

- Two days workshop on “ORACLE PL/SQL PROGRAMMING” jointly organized byIT Dept/CSE Dept and Association with Xchanging Solutions (P) Ltd, Chennai.
